A special piece of furniture I designed inspired by my own experience. This is a welcome home stand where you can put away the things you don’t need at home into handmade leather bowls, and hang the keys or umbrella on the metal frame. Both leather and metal will document the daily usage and age beautifully.

Handmade envelope style laptop case using vegetable tanned leather with a single silver stud button closure. Process: The laptop case is made using one piece of natural veg tanned leather. Designed the pattern and made a prototype with muslin cloth for a perfect fit. Clean cut with sharp rotary knife. Corners were pre punched to prevent tearing. Pattern cut and ready for dyes. Process: I use black and white deer skin for this pair of shoes. Deer skin is very soft and stretchy, but it’s very hard to skive.Stitchting on the inside. No visible stitching from outside: Punch eyelets: Upper’s done! Secure the back by nailing it to the last with a piece of leather, so it won’t leave a huge whole on the upper. Process: cut 20mm wide leather stripes I wanted the leather side on both sides so I used contact cement to put two layers of leather together punched off the corner punched holesfiled edge and finished with mink oilfinished with stitches
