In this assignment I learned and practiced and explored methods of model making and scale. This is 1:5 scale model of Gerald Summers’ plywood armchair. I picked this chair because I love the idea of making the whole chair out of one-piece plywood. I honored the original chair and the designer by using lamination as the main method of model making.
