Wanted to tested the new set of stamps I got. Vegetable tanned leather takes stamps really well.
I wet the surface and waited for it to return it’s dry color. Placed the stamp and hit it with a hammer several times. Then I lightly painted the indent to make it more visible.

For this I dyed the leather first and finished the edges. Then I wet the surface, stamped the leather and attached the hardware. A teabag inspired tea bag for my tea loving friend Kelli Rae~
