To me, the design process is just as exciting as the end result. I started this design with a photograph of a bicycle. I never looked so closely and so carefully at a bicycle, and I found  the lines and shapes of it are actually very interesting. I use photoshop to make the original photo black and white to emphasize the lines, and I inverted the color so the silhouette of the shape became dominante. I then enlarge and decrease the size of both images and made many copies. I carefully cut and made a collage that made the lines and shapes have some sort of movement throughout the image, and the change of black and white background really helps carry around the attention.
