Street photography is probably my favorite type of photography. I love its candidness and the wonders of “perfect timing”. I usually bring a zoom-in lens so that I don’t have to be right in people’s face when I take pictures. But I did, once, use my 35mm for street photography to pay my respect of Vivian Maier. Because of that I had to talk to people and/or ask for permission to take pictures, which was fun too. I believe the one and only secret for street photography is to always have your camera ready to take as many pictures as you can–quantity matters. My camera is more than my eyes, because I see so much more when I look through it.
